about

We have a small back porch that faces West and the sunsets in Chicago are stunning. There's also this random water tower that's no longer in use that's become a fixture of the sunsets when we watch them. I wrote these piece loosely based on a Messianic scale, and with no melody - it was more of a tone poem than a composition. It turned into an end-of-the-day vibe and a fitting closer for the album. Ryan's additional compositional layers add so much depth and motion to this piece.
