My fiancé and I spent a weekend out at these lighthouses in Michigan taking photos with an old medium-format camera and just had an incredible time. It was our first vacation together, and I wrote this tune immediately after we came home. It has that open-road feel to it, with a few rhythmic twists here and there. Jon Deitemyer really was in his element throughout and I was so pleased with how it turned out.
